Running Remote scripts with OpenDeploy

Hello!
I have been looking for a way to run a deployment that has the ability to execute a script on the remote (recieving) machine, as opposed to the local (TeamSite server) machine.

So far, everything I see about running scripts with OpenDeploy is in regards to scripts that run on the base, not the receiver... Have I missed something?

Basically, what I need is a script that can before a certian deployment starts moving files, stop a service, then upload the new files, and then re-start the service (obviously on a Win32 machine).

Anyone have any ideas?

You missed something.
DeployNRun scripts (DNRs) can be invoked on either the source or target machines, before or after the triggerpoint, on success and/or failure [if "after"]

The OpenDeploy 5.6 dnrDeploymentJob functionality (wrapper for entire deployment process) currently only runs on the source side, but the dnrDeployment (sub-element of execDeploymentTask) can run on either side.

You need to keep in mind though, that the script you wish to run has to exist on the side of the deployment you wish to run it - and any supporting programs for that script are also needed there. i.e. if you want to run foo.ipl on the target side, you need to make sure that not only is foo.ipl on the target side, but iwperl is there too. (if you just need perl, and not iwperl - you still need to make sure that perl exists on the side where you will be running the DNR script) - you are not limited to perl scripts - I'm just using that as an example. The same concepts apply run running vbscript, java, etc.
