HideRule before run or before render?

All my reports have some HideRule by default.
In some cases, I want to modify it "on the fly"

I want to do it when I already have rptdocument file.

I am unable to do it before "Render". Can this be done at this stage?

Should I make modification of HideRule before "Run" task?

Any help will be appreciated!

You can use client side script in a text element to show and hide content, but if you want to use a visibility expression (HideRule) you need to modify it sometime before the report runs. Ie Java program before it runs or in a beforeFactory script in the report itself.
