How can i set birtpagenumber

We have two requirements for our reports.

1. We need to display the footer only on the first page of the report. For this we have written a script that will generate birtpagenumber and display the footer only on the first page of the report.

2. we would like to set the pagebreak interval to 0 or -1. But if we have to do this point 1 is not working for us.

So please help so that both should work.

What is your BIRT version? If using an old version, there were page break issues that caused some issues with this. This should work in the newest version.
