Hello ALL,

I'm currently having Problems with my font styles ,

i need to have "Times new Roman"

instead i have "Times new Roman PS" after execution .

How can i implement a new font style .

What output are you going to? Also, what is your BIRT version? Is this deployed or in the designer? Do you, for some reason, not have the Times New Roman font installed?

I'm using PDF as a output, Birt version is Helios , and it's deployed , i do have times new roman . 
My problem is after execution the times new roman is transformed into Times new Roman PS , which is different from the normal Times New Roman.

In fact this issue comes from the definition of fonts used in fontsConfig.xml under $birt directory$\plugins\org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.fonts_XXXXX. where XXXX stands for the version you're using

In order to fix this issue, you should modify the mappings in fontsConfig.xml. otherwise you can simply in birt desiger, use the serif font family (which points to times new roman) instead of using times new roman wich points to times new roman ps in your pdf file.
This solved the problem for me
