Continual page number in a single bulk PDF(with many BIRT files)
JingYan
Hi All,
We generate one single bulk PDF, which will use 4 or 5 BIRT files one by one normally, we use The AutoText ?Page Number? which is defined in the BIRT internally <property name="type">page-number</property> to display page number, but page number will be reset when the BIRT files changed. we need a continual page number(1,2,3,...20,21..) in this single bukl PDF, do you have any idea and suggestion for this requirement?

There is no easy way that I can think of, especially if you are running these reports one at a time.
You could always join each pdf file into one large file in a pdf program, like Acrobat Pro X, and create a header in there with a page #.
Another option would be to combine your separate report files into one report in BIRT. So you'd have multiple datasets and multiple tables in one report file. An easy way to do this would be to put each report in a separate grid, and page break on each grid.
Thanks.
