Display footer field on last page.
Bhumi U.
Hi,
I have to display header/footer in my report, which i am getting correctly. besides that,i wanted to display one field on top of the footer record and only on the last page of the report.
So for that , i wrote the following script in second last footer row in the table
<VALUE-OF format="HTML">while (rowCount < 12){
extendTable = extendTable + "<br>";
rowCount++;
}
extendTable;</VALUE-OF>
I am getting the field on last page,but if no. of records in the table changes, the footer field will go to the next page.
Is there any way, so field will be displayed only on the last page and top of the footer row.
Please find the attached sample file with example.

The reason this doesn't work is because you can't just pick a random number, like 12, to add and get to the bottom of the page. You will need to use your rowCount variable to count the rows in your page to know how many rows into each page you are. This way, the extension script will know how many rows you have so far and will only increment x amount of times until you reach your max rows, which should be in place of your 12. In your onPageBreak script, you'll reset your rowCount variable so your count starts over on each page.

Kinda like this. Take a look at the extra scripts to handle your rowCount variable. I also made the page break interval of all the tables 0 and just handled the page breaking manually as well. Hope this helps.
