DB2 Dataconnection Definitions

Hi, new to BIRT here. Was at the roadshow in Dallas yesterday. In office today trying to connect to my DB2 database and cannot figure out how. I cannot even get BIRT Designer to connect to my iServer. ??
When I create a new Data Connection Definition, when type of connection do I need to select? I do not see ODBC, JDBC, ODA....
