Schduling the Report in Iserver Automatically after an event

Hi,

This time i have a doubt on how to start the quer execution automatically after an event.

I mean, Currently we are running a xml job to load the data into tables.

Once the tables are loaded, One confirmation mail would be triggered automatically immediately after the xml job.

After getting it confirmed with this mail, we start running the actual report in iserver manaully.

My doubt is, do we have any automation process to start the execution of the reports once we receive the mail without doing it manually.

If yes, please share the steps to be followed.

If no, please suggest me any alternate option for this requirement.

To make it precise, as single stroke, once we start the xml job, the report execution is also expected to be completed

The only way I can think of is to use an external program using the API to kick off the job. Basically it would be an email poll and a wrapper for IDAPI.
