Jboss6/hibernate/java bean creating reports

I am using eclipse to create datasource connection of the birt reporting. we have thick client which has server side and client side so i need to figure out a way to get the data for the reports without putting any database information. Due to change of databases when customers install. Now i am trying to go to hibernate and get the data but when i try to connect to fetch the children classes i get error. on top not sure if i have the right plug in and features. the link that everyone providing is dead now. JBoss has a hibernate oda that you can use from BIRT to access hibernate data objects. We also published a simple one in the BIRT book, but the JBoss one is probably a better option.
