Report parameters

Hello,

I want to set the report paramter (date) to system date in bIRT 2.3.1
In the higher versin there is a button to insert js script from where we can put the system date using Birt date functions. But this feature is not present in 2.3.1
So how can I initalize the report param to a default value in this case?

Check out this devShare entry. It shows how you can use a combo box type parameter and a scripted dataSet to set a default value in older versions. It's not as clean as if you can upgrade, but it might work for you, til you can.
