Preview Error. "Connection failed. iwproxy was"

When i try to preview a page using a tpl file, i get the following error.

"Connection Failed
iwproxy was unable to open a connection to: localhost:81
Reason: No such file or directory. "

The html file is generated by the tpl file. Problem is its not getting displayed when the preview tab in the dcr is clicked.
Instead it shows up the above error.

Any suggestions to debug this wil be appreciated

i have installed apache after installing Teamsite.

it runs on port 80. but when i work with teamsite, i stop the apache server. From your comment i understand that a webserver is needed for teamsite to work properly, and it has to be configured to work with teamsite.

if that is so, where can i get information about configuring apache to work with teamsite?

The TeamSite Administrator's Guide would probably be a good place to start - but frankly, if you stop your copy of Apache, reconfigure it to run on port 81, and start it up again, you'll probably find that it works.
