BIRT Viewer : spaces in URL

Hi guys,

Due to compatibility problems with Java version, we have to use the Web Viewer to display our reports.
The problem is for the parameters we give to the Viewer via the URL for a parameter like the name.

Let's say we have a parameter rp_name composed with lastname and first name.

How to call the viewer with : http://server/birt/frameset?__report=test.rptdesign&rp_name=John Woo

How to deal with the space between John and Woo ?

I know I can encode it from Java with %20 instead of the space but how to decode it in the report so the Dataset can understand it ?

Sorry for the delay but it was a new deploy on production last week end... 
 
So, for the post, the problem was coming from the semi-colon (:) and not the space. 
As I put the string between quotes (') the spaces were a problem also. 
But the spaces are working well without quotes. 
 
So I just get to remove the semi-colon and it works.
