Eclipse Indigo plugin

I was previously using the open source eclipse BIRT plugin v3.7 with Eclipse Indigo (v3.7). But now I realized I need the Actuate BIRT Designer Pro plugin. I uninstalled all the old BIRT stuff I had and installed the Actuate BIRT plugin from the update site (http://download.birt-exchange.com/products/birt/update/11sp3/).

After the install the Report Design perspective no longer works and I can only open up the design documents as raw XML. Is there a way to get this plug-in to work in Eclipse Indigo, or do I simply need to use the stand-alone Actuate Birt designer?

Hi there!

BIRT Designer Professional is built on Eclipse Helios (version 3.6.X). That could be your problem.

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured...I guess I'll just have to run the stand-alone designer along side my Eclipse. That's probably less work then installing an older Eclipse and setting up a dev environment again. Thanks.
