memory cache issue in crosstab in birt 2.6

I am Using cross tab in my report which fetches data from dataset.my Report contains 3 parameter(Team,from data and To date).I am using birtviewer in my web application.My report works fine(fetching correct data to the report)but sometimes the data is not refreshed and it fetches cache data from memory. 
 
Temporarily I can solve this issue by clearing the cache and cookies in the browser and by selecting different parameter value for the report.I think so it seems to be birt bug and i have also read some post regarding this 
but it seems to be applicable for BIRT 2.2 but Iam using BIRT 2.6.

Try using the __overwrite=true parameter in your URL. Let me know if that helps.

Can you reproduce this in a way that I can try it out? Like, using a flat file and then adding more data to the flat file and the report data not changing? Or by using the sample database and changing a parameter to bring in more data? Are you just deploying to Tomcat?
