Where are you looking at the output file name at? In the file explorer or in the command line?

Can you create a new file in your file explorer with Japanese characters in it?

is this to check if the server supports japanese characters?
mwilliams
Yeah. Is it only BIRT that's not able to use Japanese characters or is it not working at all?

I wouldn't think the response time would be too bad. When you post the bug, please put the bug info in here.
