Configuring BIRT for old versions of Eclipse

Okay thanks, but I have a question. What am I supposed to do with the BIRT run-time? The instructions are not clear.

The birt runtime is used to either deploy the viewer app to Java EE app server or use the report engine api. These are separate from the designer.
