Hi,
Im new to BIRT but i think that if you select the crosstab from the layout editor, then using the "Property Editor - Cross Tab", select the "Empty Rows/Columns" properties tab. Scroll to the bottom of the Empty Rows/Columns window and at the bottom there is an option called " For empty cells, show:", then you can add anything you like as the value i.e. "0". This can also be a character or special character.
I hope that helps.
Simon.

Hi,
As mentioned i am new and only use the designer view, not the script, but i changed to XML view and the following is what i found in the body area of the crosstabe section of the xml view
<property name="emptyCellValue">0</property>
Try adding this to the body of your XML page and see if it helps, if not why dont you just use the designer view and select the options i mentioned in first reply.
