Search Facility in BIRT

Hi Birt Developer(s)

I am having this kind of a report right now see the attached doc. file for screenshot below, my challenge right now is that I have to create a search facility that will work in the following manner,
e.g. if I enter a merchant number in textbox and click Find button it must highlight the current searched merchant number but It shouldn't filter the report.
I will really appreciate your input.
