how to enhance the first time performance

my birt version is 2.6.2.I deploy birt to RCP, use webviewer and the servlet is "perview".
I saw the preview process takes much more time at the first time than the second time.Then I search on the web.Someone say when first time execution of report, BIRT will initialize & load the engines such as report engine, data engine and etc.
may I initialize & load them manually?the first time performance is indeed important to me.

You know that preview only uses the first 500 rows of each dataset to generate the report?
If a query contains more then 500 rows the report will miss data. Use run if you want to make sure that your report contains all data even if there is more then 500 rows in one dataset.

Concerning the performance: That's a good question i m also interested in.
This is the main reason for me why i do not use the webviewer when integration birt into my rcp apps (i use my own viewer that is not using a webserver at all).
The first time performance is bad because of the fact that the underlying jetty is started on demand (if i m not wrong) and it first needs to initialize the birt webviewer application on first run.
The simplest solutions would be to just fire a dummy request to the webapp after startup.

You could startup the web app when the code initializes:

But some of the time will be in the loading of the plugins to run a report.
