Birt Report in PHP

Hello Jason,

I have an RCP plugin (which is developed by me) that contains the BIRT libraries and my code to create the Birt Charts. The RCP Plugin works fine with a Java Project. Is it possible to reuse this RCP Plugin with another project, which is in PHP (PHP as the front end) ? I want to generate the birt chart using the (X,Y) values dynamically and show it in the PHP web application.

I have found the following articles, which shows different methods. But they display the chart from a file that is stored in the server (.rptdesign).

Can you convert your code to a standalone java app? If so then you could just call your classes directly with the php javabridge. The chart engine can be ran standalone btw, meaning no osgi.

Yes, I can convert the code to standalone java app. 
 
Can I do the same way, if I use jsp instead of php?

Do you mean if you convert it can you use it in a JSP or leaving it as an RCP app?
If you convert it you can use php or jsp.
