running report in separate context

hello frndz,

i want to run my report from first context while my birt viewer in another context..
i made changes as per instruction here..

1>added jar files
2>made change in web.xml
3>and made change on jsp page also but still report is not runnig...
m using birt_runtime_3.7

and i have downloaded birt_2.3.2_coreapi.jar,birt_2.3.2_engineapi.jar and modelapi.jar which is added to lib

can sombody please help me to run my report...

You're just trying to embed the viewer, using the tag library? Or what? Also, what instructions are you following from that link? Let me know.

we have server where all the projects are running,
i just dont want to integrate birt viewer with every project.
i want comman birt viewer which will help me to run all the ".rptdesign" from diffent projects by using same birt viewer which is running on the same server

You can deploy the web viewer to each server and make URL calls to it from your application. If you want to embed the viewer like in the link you provided, you'd just deploy the web viewer to your servers and use the tag library to call the reports from the BIRT deployment on the server.

sorry i dont get it...
i dont want to store my project's report to WebViewerExample directory running in the tomcat i want the report run from the project and store in the project only
can u please give me solution or any example for that...

If you don't want to make calls to the viewer, you can use the RE API to run your reports. Take a look at these links to help you with running your reports with Java code:
