How to pass Report parameters from one report to another report

i am very new to birt Tool

my facing problem with passing report parameters from one report another report


actual scenario of mine is

I have two report parameter in one rptdesign, like fromdate and todate

i used drill through (hiperlink) to navigate from one report to another report,

when ever i reached to second report i want to access report parameters of first report (from date,to date)

because i used that report parameters in dataset (second report)



please any one could help on this

I'm not sure what you're asking because you ask the question and then answer yourself. To pass the parameters from one report, to the next, you just need to set up the parameters in the first report and in the drill through report. When you go to set up your drill through, you'll select the second report to drill through to, then, in the list below the report you selected, you'll be able to select your parameters that are in your second report and pass the values from your current report through them. That should be all you need to do, which it seems you described already. I guess I don't see that you created the two parameters in the second report, as well. That may be what you're missing. Let me know if you are still stuck!
