thank you.
and in my application i want to calculate days counter. can u help on dat.

Can you explain that a little more? There are aggregations and computed columns that can be used to do calculations over your data. I can be more specific if you explain a little more.

thanks for your reply.
my requirement is for an insurance company i need to find the no of days when the insurance has taken.

If you have a startDate and an endDate. You can figure out the days between these two dates with the following:
DateTimeSpan.days(startDate, endDate);
If you need this for each row in your table, just use this as a computed column expression, replacing startDate and endDate with your two date fields. Hope this helps.

What am I looking at in the image? What are you wanting it to do?

So, you are already done and have the counter you're looking for? I'm just not sure what you're asking, cause it looks like you've already got it!
Let me know.

Oh. Ok. Add a column to your table and drag a data binding into it, from the palette. Make it an integer field, and for the expression, put:
DateTimeSpan.days(yourDateFieldFromAbove, new Date());
That should give you the number you're looking for. Let me know.
