custom week in Actuate

Hi,
i want to know how "www" which is used for custom week in actuate works. i tried to implemet the code in VB.net but the dates returned by actuate and by VB.Net are different

following is the code in Actuate

a is int and d is Date

d=DateSerial(year-num,moth_num,1)
while(a< week_num)
a=Format(d,"www")
d=DateAdd("d",1,d)
wend

f_Graph_Date=d

where f_Graph_Date is the value the function returns, year_num,month_num and week-num are the integer values given by the user. when i give start date and end date as 1/1/2011 to 11/30/2011 actuate returns 9/19/2011(week 39),9/26/2011(week 40),10/03/2011(week 41),10/31/2011(week 45) and 11/7/2011(week 46). My vb code retuns all these dates including one more which is 11/2/2011(week 45).
