BIRT export excel formatting

I have a BIRT report which contains 190 columns.When I export the report in excel format,then all the columns(190) are getting distorted.If I want to see the all columns(190) in excel,then what i had to do is I need to expand all the 190 columns manually.
Can anyone explain me wht I need to do so that all the columns comes in a presentable format automatically.
