Arresting attribute Column in Crosstables
SNX2012
One more Question to Crosstables,
I?ve got a very huge crosstable and now i?ve got the problem, that i have to scroll a long way to the right in explorer view to see all results. My problem is, that i cant see the attribute column on the left anymore after scrolling. so is it possible to arrest this column?
Thanks for help.

This isn't an out of the box function, of BIRT, I don't believe. There is the option to page break after a certain number of columns and then to repeat the header column, if that's an option. You could always request this as an enhancement, for future versions, in the eclipse.org bugzilla. You might be able to do something with the viewer tag library, embedding the crosstab with the headers hidden, in one frame, and an instance of the crosstab with the measures hidden in another, to see if you can get it. I could be wrong though. Maybe someone else knows of a better option.

Oh ok thanks for reply! i allready thought that it isnt an BIRT out of the box function so this is not a problem. The workaround with pagebreaks is really a good idear! Than ive got 2 more Questions but i think the answer will be the same.
First: Is it possible to rotate the colum header of a CrossTab about 45 or 90? like in excel?
Second: Is it possible to use a tooltip function like in charts to give an description of a spezial value of a crosstab dimension header column?
For example i wanne prove in which part of a company which different tools are used. so i put all tools on the left side and the parts of the company on the top site and calc. the count of used tools. Is it possible to create a tooltip description of every tool? Maybe the price or somethink read-out of a querry?
