Does Interwoven have tools to capture and import print streams?

Does Interwoven have specific tools to create and manage catalogs?
Can it aggregate a catalog from multiple catalogs?

What tools does it provide to users to manage catalogs?

We keep kicking around the idea of using teamsite for catalog content. In my opinion, teamsite may be able to handle some basic to moderate catalog management tasks, however it is not a true catalog management tool. That is to say there are other tools that better handle cataloging functionality (pricing engine, etc..). It really depends what your needs are around "catalog management". We are looking to manage product data sheets...ie features/benefits, multiple images, and "marketing fluff". It works great for that type of data. I think there was a product at one point called team catalog, but I don't know if it really caught on. You may look into either team xml or datadeploy if you would like to work in some IWOV technology.
This is probaly going to spark some fairly opinionated responses, but it is a good topic to kick around. Remember, I am not saying you CAN'T do it.
