How to sorting cross tab in birt report?

I have this cross tab

c1 c2 c3 sum

x1 0 0 1 1
x10 1 0 1 2
x2 0 0 1 1
x3 0 0 0 0

sum 1 0 3 1

but I want to sorting in left column

c1 c2 c3 sum

x1 0 0 1 1
x2 0 0 1 1
x3 0 0 0 0
x10 1 0 1 2

sum 1 0 3 1

What should I do?

Hi,
I have nearly the same problem. In my case the column header isn?t correctlly sorted.

That means:

I want to have: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11

I got: 1 10 11 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

How can I fix that problem.

is it possible, that the data you try to sort is an string and not float or integer ?

In crossTab, data is sort by alphabetic and numeric characters automatically, but you must add a group which contains "c1 c2 c3 " value to crossTab.

Hi Pennapa

You first build a Data Set in report,it includes "XX","C1","C2","C3".And then new Data Cube which includes one group that set xx c1 c2 c3 member in it.You can drag this group in Outline view into CrossTab "Drop data field(s) to define rows here" field.

Birt can sort rows data by xx. "xx" is your data set like x1|x10|x2|x3 .

You can try this and if you have any question please let me know.

x1|x10|x2|x3 this actually have been sort by BIRT.It is sorting one by one position.
That means if x is the same ,and sorting by next position which is 1|1|2|3.The sorting is right.Birt don't know 10 is ten,do you clear?
