Filter data for LAST & DAYS

Hi,

I am not able to filter data from report design for the last 7 days from the current date.
EX:- Suppose today is 5/11/2012.So i need to extract data from 5th may to 11th may 2012.
Please help me on this filter condition in Birt Designer Professional.

You can do this in a dataSet filter with a filter like:

Expression: row["dateField"]
Operator: between
Value 1: DateTimeSpan.subDate(new Date(),0,0,6);
Value 2: new Date();

You could use these same expressions to get dates to use in your query, if using SQL.
