How to Resolve Out of Memory Exception

I am using Birt 3.7 Version

I have around 30 reports, i have deployed my webapplication in Tomcat 6.0

i am facing Problem like "Out of Memory Exception" (PremGenSpace Error)

Please any one give me some suggestion on it,

Hi, 
my application server is Tomcat 7 and i solved this problem configuring the catalina.sh. 
Add this in the begin of file: 
 
<pre class='_prettyXprint _lang-auto _linenums:0'>JAVA_OPTS="-Djava.awt.headless=true -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8
-server -Xms1024m -Xmx1024m
-XX:NewSize=512m -XX:MaxNewSize=512m -XX:PermSize=512m
-XX:MaxPermSize=512m -XX:+DisableExplicitGC"
</pre>
 
You need to restart your tomcat.
