onSaveDone and revoking

Hi,
We have a DCT that has an event handle on onSaveDone. According to the documentation at this point the DCR has been saved and a name assigned. This is actually a bug, which has been reported. But since we are going live soon, this does not help us much, so therefore I was looking at someway to reinvoke the save event. Does anyone know whether that is possible ?
javascript:saveClicked(kSaveBtn,null,true) this is what the "save" button on the DCT GUI does, so surely there must a way to reinvoke the event. Any help will be appreciated.
