Date fields when export to excel are lost

HI Williams

We are using BIRT version 3.7.1 and we had a problem displaying date fields when we try to use the export to excel option to view the report.

The date fields are masked as ########### in the excel sheet.

Please help us!

If you expand the column in your Excel sheet output, do they still show "############"? Let me know.

Hi Williams

No when i expand the date is shown, but as soon as the report opens in excel , the user will see ###########.
can this be fixed in BIRT.

Have you tried setting the width of that column?
