Mask IP Address inside the column in the report

Hi

I have to mask the IP address that is coming into the report column.
How can i do that in BIRT.

For ex if the value of the column Name is coming as 16.1.3.100 , i should mask this IP address and not show it in the report.

Appreciate your help on this.
