Expression in Expression builder displays only the first row values
RepBIRT
The dataset have around 8 columns. The dataset will be used across three tables.
If the expression builder is used to enter the condition in the Data grid, the values are displayed only if the retrieved values are from first row(s) of the dataset.
Another table contains the datagrid element, which has some expression to filter the data. But the values are retrieved since they are not the first row elements.
The expression used in the expression builder for the first table data grid is as follows
if(datasetRow["cnt"] == 'tcnt')
{
dataSetRow["Name"]
}
The expression used in the expression builder for the second table data grid is as follows
if(datasetRow["cnt"] == 'mcnt')
{
dataSetRow["Name"]
}
Only first table value is displayed. Rest of the other data grid element is not populated with the values.
Any ideas / references would be of great help.

A grid doesn't iterate over the result set. Only a table or list will do that. Can you explain a little more about what you're trying to do and I'll help you get what you're wanting, if I can.
Example data and desired output always help!
