I have version 2.6.2 of BIRT.
Are reports developed in 3.7.1 compatible with 2.6.2?

You can try opening it. Most likely, you'll get an error saying the design was made in an unsupported version. If you get this error, then go to the XML source of the report created in 3.7.1 and change the version information in the first few lines to be the same as the version info in one of your 2.6.2 reports. This might allow the design to be opened. If it doesn't open after this, you'll probably have to redo the report, in 2.6.2.
