How to use ODBC with BIRT

I am using a database called Btrieve (or Pervasive).<br />
I have ODBC set up. I do not have JDBC set up.<br />
<em class='bbc'><strong class='bbc'>When I tried to set up a Data Source in Designer, ODBC was not a choice.</strong></em><br />
Can you help?<br />
