BIRT 2.3.2: Inserting dynamic content of file in BIRT

We are using BIRT 2.3.2.

Currently we have a requirement where we need to pick the path, filename from DB fields and fetch the file from server.
File can be image/pdf/document or say any 1 specific format only(for now pdf).

Insert this file content in BIRT report.

Please suggest if this is possible in this version of the BIRT.
