backward compatibility from version 11 to 10

I'm using version 11.0.3 and about to write reports for a client using version 10 sp1. Are they backward compatible with version 10? After I've completed them the client will need to make some small changes, hence backward compatibility.

It may not be compatible even if after you have change the header as there may be some changes to the XML codes.
