Apply new style for dynamic text

Hi,

I want to use 1000 separator and decimal places as 0 in a dynamic text.When I changed it,For this ,I created a new style and change 'Format Number' property -set Format as 'Currency', Decimal places -0,check 1000s separator.

and I apply this new style to dynamic text field(which displays total of salary amount).But in o/p this will not reflect.

Why are you using a dynamic text to display the value rather than a data element? In a dynamic text, you'll probably have to use script to format the value how you want.
