i'm rather new in birt, so i hope my question is not too stupid (but i didn't found any answers here or
@google).
First of all:
Version: Eclipse BIRT 3.7.2
OS: W2K8 Server 64bit
I build a report with a table resultset (coming from mysql sql statement). Using Birt Viewer (running in Tomcat) Users can export the resultset to different formats. When exporting, the names of the columns (headers) should be changed. I changed the property "Display Name" of the columns. This works fine for "Export report", ie. in MS Excel column headers are displayed as configured.
But "Export Data" gives me still the old names coming from the database.
Is there a reason, why "Export report" and "Export data" behaves different in Birt Viewer? And how can i solve this?
