How to give access privilege for a user(not an administrator) for restarting the iserver

Hi All,

Please tell me how to give access privilege for a user who is not an administrator for restarting the iserver.

I want to know whether can we create a user with a role in the iserver for restarting the iserver alone?

Sankari,

Only the System Administrator can restart the iServer without restarting the iServer services.

So if this is a Windows environment, they could either log into the Configuration Console and stop/start the iServer from there, or use services.msc to stop/start the iServer service.

Were you encountering a specific scenario where you need an end user to restart the iServer?
