# is appearing in excel file instead of data

Hi,
I have created a rptdesign file with a table which has more than 20 columns. I have choose auto layout for the layout.In the out put file I am getting ### instead of actual data for some of the columns.

I am using BIRT 2.5.2 engine.

Can any body help me in fixing this issue.

Hi,

i think the data is there, but the columns are to small. i know this behavior of excel when columns are to small to display the date completely.

Increase the width of the columns in the excel file and you should see your data.
