iServer Users jobs view of others
USHA
Hi,
I am using iServer v10. We are having few users running reports from iServer but they are not able to view the reports generated by other users in completed and running job tabs however they are able to see the outputs and design files of other users in the Files and Folders.
Can any one please help me what change in the privileges will make one users jobs can view other users in Job folder.
Thanks In advance.
Usha

Hi Could you please help me in this issue. Appreciate your help.

UHSA,
The only role that can see all jobs from all users is the "Administrator" role.
As the Administrator though, they can modify and alter any item that they wish, which may provide to be an adverse condition for some environments.

Hi Siegler,
Thanks for the Reply.
Administrator role should not be provided for the users because they will not access all the files and designs on the system. Please let me know if any other way to solve the issue.

That is the only method. No other role allows all users to see all jobs of all other users.

One way around this limitation would be to use IDAPI to make the calls to the iServer to get the lists of scheduled jobs, pending jobs, running jobs, and completed jobs (Failed, Succeeded, Cancelled) and then display that information on a web page. All of this would be heavily customized code that would need to be created and maintained by your organization however.

Support could provide assistance with what calls to make and how to make them on a basic level.

Other than this, I am not aware of any method to provide what you are looking for.
