GRID/TABLE is not a table inside PPT exported report

I included a GRID/TABLE inside my BIRT report, when this report is exported to PowerPoint the GRID/TABLE is not a TRUE TABLE inside ppt file, the table is visible a table/grid but is just lines ungrouped (like a picture). So, if I can include some information in one cell of this table will be not possible.

Anybody knows if this issue already does corrected. I am using BIRT v. 2.6.2.

You might try getting the Tribix emitter working in 2.6 and see if it gives a different result. I've never tried it, but I've heard people say it's better. Not sure if this is different, but it might be worth a go.

We are currently using the Version 4.3.1 and got the same problem for the PPTX Emitter. We alerady tried the Arctorus and got the same result. That the grid das not got converted to an table element in the PowerPoint presentation.The output is actuelly OK but any manual modification of the presentation atfewards will be a pain. Because nothing will be algned automatically. Are there any plans to change the behaviour? Kind RegardsJens

You can always log an enhancement request in the bugzilla at eclipse.org/birt. Be sure to post the enhancement info in here so that others can vote on this. It would be a nice upgrade as I've seen several different folks have this complaint.
