Alternating row colors for detail row?

I have a detail row in my report and I want the row colors to be gray,gray,gray,white,white,white... Is that possible?

I do not mean columns, I mean, each column of row 1 is gray, 2 is gray, 4 is white, 8 is gray..., alternating every 3, GGGWWWGGGWWWGGGWWW.

Set up a highlight rule, on your detail row, like this:

row.__rownum%6 between 1 and 3 -> background color gray
