Hi,
I need help with understanding and getting a local port number that BIRT.EXE uses.
While running: netstat -anobv from cmd,
I get:
TCP 127.0.0.1:61291 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 6704
C:\WINDOWS\system32\WS2_32.dll
C:\BIRT\jre\bin\net.dll
-- unknown component(s) --
[BIRT.exe]
I need this 127.0.0.1:61291 as part of dynamically created URL links to BIRT reports.
For example:
<<<<<
I have 2 BIRT reports. The first contains HTML lists with URL links to another BIRT report. URL example:
http://127.0.0.1:61291/viewer/frameset?__report=C:\BIRT\workspace\rr\ChangeRequests_Report.rptdesign&__format=html&Infrastructure+Change+ID=CRQ000000003205&__overwrite=true&__locale=en_US&__timezone=Israel&__svg=false&__designer=true&__pageoverflow=0&__masterpage=true&__resourceFolder=C:\BIRT\Library\Resources
>>>>>>>
the problem is that port number 61291 sometimes changes, and as the result the links doesn't work.
Please advice me how can I get the local port # (in this case 61291 ) while running BIRT report.
thanks
