SQL Session Time Zone bug?
dudumanbog
Hi. Does anybody know how to handle the error with SQLException: Session Time Zone not set!<br />
I am trying to build a data set that used sql data source. What is the best approach for this problem? Is this a bug?<br />
<br />
<blockquote class='ipsBlockquote' ><p>org.eclipse.birt.data.engine.odaconsumer.OdaDataException: Cannot get the string value from column: 11.<br />
org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc.JDBCException: Cannot get string value in the result set.<br />
SQL error #1:Session Time Zone not set!</p></blockquote>
<br />
<br />
Thanks!

Can you try creating a blank report and add a data item with the following expression.
reportContext.getTimeZone().getDisplayName();
What version of BIRT are you using? Did you download the allinone designer?
