Set text element localization content key, from binding parameter

Hi all, 
 
How to set the value of "content key", on a text element, from my dataset row. 
It seems like the solution is to use scripting for this, but I can't get it working. 
Can someone help me? 
 
ps. Our document generator creates new rows as long as they are coming from the xml dataset.

If I'm understanding correctly, in the onCreate script of the label, you could put:

this.text = reportContext.getMessage(row["article_number"]);

And it would find the correct value, as long as you've added the properties file to the resources.

Excellent, thank you very much! 
What I still don't get is why the "onCreate" event has no this.ContentKey, while this is the exact name of the property to be set?? But it runs fine now... 
 
Now I experience another side effect. 
In my property file I use lots of special characters like: ? / ? / ? etc. , they are all converted into weird signs. 
e.g. "f?r" --> "für" 
 
My property files are UTF-8, either after using the java converting tool, they result is bad: 
"native2ascii -encoding UTF-8" 
 
Do you have idea to get this fixed?

FYI, this.textKey = row["article_number"] should work too. Sorry, I didn't get a chance to look at this closer, til now. I'll look into the special characters now, too.

With ANSI encoding, I was able to use ?. If using utf-8, I had to replace the label with an html text box and set the contentKey in the onPrepare. The problem here is that you don't have access to your data yet. So, if you can change the encoding to your properties file, that'd be best.

Actually, you can use the html text box with the onCreate of this.text = reportContext.getMessage(row["yourfield"]); and UTF-8 should work, as long as you change the ? to &#252 instead.
