Report is printing blank pages
DavidGress
I created a report with a Pie Chart and a crosstab. It generates output of two pages. When I print it from the BIRT previewer it prints 4 pages. Page one and 3 have data but pages 2 and 4 are blank.
From the Information Console (after publishing the report) I ran it and printed, choosing HTML and get the same thing. But, if I choose PDF it generates two pages.
Is there a setting to correct his for the HTML print outs and the previewer?
TIA,
Dave

What version of BIRT are you using? Can you attach your rptdesin for me to take a look at? You could also try setting the overflow on the master page to hidden and see if that works.

Thanks for the reply.<br />

I'm using:<br />
Actuate BIRT Designer Professional <br />
Version: 11.0.3<br />
Build id: 20111028<br />
<br />
On Master Page Properties | Advanced | Overflow says Hidden:Inherited.

I can't run your report but it looks like you don't have a grid in it which was my next question. Do you think you can recreate this with the sample database?
DavidGress
I had a grid in the report but my cross tab was being formatted correctly.
Do you recommend using a 1x 2 grid? One row for the pie chart and one for the crosstab?

Yeah you might want to try that and see what the results are.
