How to create Pop-up windows in BIRT

Hi folks,

Is there a way to create pop-up windows (when you hover over a link, it will generate a window to give you an overview) in BIRT? Thanks!

You can do this with the 'Help Text' in the Advanced Properties section of the item.

I think this will only work for HTML documents though. If you export to PDF or excel, you don't get the help text.

Hi Tubal, thanks for your reply, it seems that it only supports for static text, can't support for dynamic text with variables. Do you have any idea on this? thanks!
